About Me
Slogans are for brands (Sometimes! And those are usually best as jingles.)
But I guess I have one, or at least, I have a tattoo of one.
Maybe when you do this job long enough and you actually like it, it gets in your brain a little bit.
Is that a good thing? Not sure!
But anyway—yeah, this tattoo: All Good, No Problem.
That’s pretty much how I feel about all of this.
Because there’s a lot of good and problems are just…sort of part of the deal.
Maybe they aren’t problems at all.
Maybe they’re just puzzles. Moutains to climb. The start of good stories.
And in this site, hopefully, you’ll see how I’ve solved some of what has come across my desk (or shoot sets or kitchen tables or late night email inboxes and everywhere else one runs into a problem/puzzle/mountain/story start…which is everywhere.)
But the good, the unique good that I bring, isn’t just in how I solve problems.
It’s innate curiosity that adds a pulse of energy to brainstorms.
It’s the ra-ra spirit and pep talks you only learn from playing and coaching team sports.
It’s making people laugh by dancing to Dolly’s “9 to 5” when nights are late and vibes are atrocious.
It’s in building client relationships where they really want to sit next to you on shoot dinners.
As they say, I’ve got the intangibles.
I can only show you so much in a website: the cards I’ve been dealt and how I’ve played those hands. I can’t actually show you the intangibles till we talk…so maybe we should?
